About This Talent Pool
We are expanding our Groundworker Talent Pool for upcoming projects across the UK in early 2026. If you have experience in civil engineering, groundwork or infrastructure projects, we want to hear from you.
Our clients include major civils contractors, housing developers, commercial builders and utilities contractors, and we expect increased demand for skilled Groundworkers in the new year.
Role Overview
As a Groundworker, you will support a wide range of civils and site preparation tasks to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
Your work may involve:
- Housing developments
- Civil engineering sites
- Roads, highways & infrastructure work
- Utilities & drainage projects
- Commercial builds & industrial sites
Key Skills & Experience
We are looking for Groundworkers who demonstrate:
- Experience working on civils, groundwork or construction sites
- Skills in drainage, kerbing, concreting, slabbing OR pipe laying
- CSCS card (required for most sites)
- Ability to work safely, follow site instructions and meet deadlines
- Good physical fitness and stamina
- Teamwork, communication and reliability
Desirable (not essential):
- Plant tickets (dumper, roller, 360, telehandler)
- Experience using laser levels or reading site plans
- Street works card (NRSWA)
- Confined spaces ticket
- Manual handling or H&S training
