About This Talent Pool
We are building a dedicated Construction Labourer Talent Pool for upcoming opportunities across the UK in early 2026.
By joining our talent network now, you’ll be first in line when new labourer roles become available with our construction, housing and civil engineering partners.
This is ideal for experienced Labourers—both CSCS carded and non-CSCS—looking for flexible temp work, additional hours, or opportunities on new sites in the new year.
CSCS Note:
Most of our clients require a CSCS card, however we also support some roles that do not require CSCS depending on the site. If you don’t have a CSCS card yet, you’re still welcome to register.
Role Overview
As a Construction Labourer, you’ll play a key role in supporting site teams to keep projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Your work may take place on:
- Housing developments
- Commercial building sites
- Civil engineering & groundwork projects
- Refurbishment and fit-out sites
- Infrastructure and public-sector projects
You will support trades, maintain site standards, and carry out essential labouring tasks under the direction of supervisors and site managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general labouring duties including lifting, moving materials and site clean-up
- Assist tradespeople across various stages of the build
- Keep work areas tidy and hazard-free
- Support with deliveries and safe unloading of materials
- Operate basic tools and equipment (if trained)
- Handle waste removal and site preparation tasks
- Follow all health & safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with site teams and supervisors
- Work safely and responsibly in a fast-paced environment
Key Skills & Experience
We are looking for Labourers who demonstrate:
- Previous experience on construction or building sites
- A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks
- Reliability, punctuality and a proactive approach
- Awareness of site safety, hazards and procedures
Desirable (not essential):
- A valid CSCS Labourer Card
- Manual handling or health & safety training
- Experience on civils, groundwork or larger construction sites
- Additional site tickets (traffic marshal, banksman, NPORS etc.)
