Role Overview
As a Bricklayer, you will carry out a range of brick and blockwork duties to support new build, commercial and refurbishment projects.
Work may involve:
- Housing developments (traditional + timber frame)
- Commercial sites and extensions
- Blockwork for civils & foundations
- Brick and block reinstatement
- Retaining walls, decorative brickwork & feature work
Key Skills & Experience
We are looking for Bricklayers who demonstrate:
- Proven experience in bricklaying on UK construction sites
- Competence in blockwork, face brick and cavity wall construction
- Ability to read drawings and work to set lines/levels
- Good knowledge of safe working practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, precision and a strong work ethic
Desirable (not essential):
- Blue/Gold CSCS Skilled Worker card
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 Bricklaying
- Ability to operate small tools/equipment
- Experience on both housing and commercial sites
